There are many different products out there that tell you they can help you learn Italian the easy way.  While many of these programs promise to make learning languages easy, in truth in order to learn Italian the easy way you are going to need to put in time.  While the process is not hard, there is a time component that simply can not be substituted for.

Steps To Learning Italian The Easy Way

The first thing you need to understand is how the brain works.  When you were a child learning a language was easy, it just came to you naturally.  The reason for this was that you opened you mind up and let you subconscious help you in learning the language.  That plus the fact that as of yet you did not have any pre determined names for anything you had to substitute for made learning a language easy.  The key learn Italian easy is to reopen that old part of your brain.  Studies frequently show that children can learn language far faster then adults, even ones that already have a language.

The best way to activate your subconscious to the language you are trying to learn is hear the language spoken over and over again in context.  If you know the meaning of the words that are being spoken to you, your brain can help you to relate those words to physical things and ideas.  By hearing the words and knowing what they mean without knowing what they mean you are better able to quickly pick up the language.  There are several ways you can do this.

The first method, and one I fully endorse, is to find a book on tape of a book you like or are familiar with.  Have the auditory play over while you read the book and you can start to see things come together and get a better feel for ideas and concepts in the foreign language.  By having the book in front of you, you can feel your way through abstract and difficult concepts.  In addition the book will help you follow along and keep you focused with its entertaining contents.

At first this process will go very slowly.  But as time goes by you will begin to pick up speed and in no time you will not even need the English book.  Try to stay up as much as possible, but if you fall behind and start over.  This is by far the best way to learn Italian easy.
